QUERCUS GAMBELII - GAMBEL OR ROCKY MOUNTAIN WHITE OAK
- a multi-stemmed, lightly suckering, shrubby to small tree sized white oak reaching 15 to 25 feet in height. Occurring from southern Wyoming through the southwest U.S. Typical lobed white oak type leaves and good producer of small acorns for wildlife use. Adaptable to dry soil conditions.
