 Ohio Buckeye

 AESCULUS GLABRA - OHIO BUCKEYE- a medium sized spreading tree reaching 25 to 40 feet in height and spread on favorable sites. Leaves are palmately compound, fruit is an inedible nut produced in a husk which splits at maturity. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil. Suitable for farmstead plantings. Native to the midwest U.S.
