SALIX RIGIDA - NATIVE YELLOW WILLOW | Print |
Salix rigida - Native Yellow Willow - A medium to large multi-stemmed shrub reaching 10 to 15 feet in height and spread.  Stems gray-brown, twigs greenish red to red-brown to yellow-brown.  Often found in wet meadow edges and flood plains.  Native to the Northern and Central U.S., useful for planting in moist areas and in riparian restoration programs.
