TILIA CORDATA - LITTLELEAF LINDEN - a medium sized tree specie reaching 35 to 45 feet in height, spread of 20 to 30 feet.  Leaves smaller than American linden, and more densely branched.  Suitable for farmstead and conservation plantings where moisture is adequate.  Not drought tolerant.  Native to Europe.  Generally suited for Eastern Dakota's and eastward in the central and northern U.S.
